Ordered by the royal house of Saudi Arabia, this building has also an Islamic study center and a library.
Designed in joint venture with Juan Mora Urbano, architect, this is the first Islamic religious building built in Spain since the Christian reconquest in the 13th century and has been nominated for the Aga Khan Prize of Architecture in 1987.
